Survey for Wakf lands ordered

Hyderabad: Following the seizure of records from the Wakf Board, Hyderabad collector Yogitha Rana directed revenue staff to launch a search for Wakf lands and to complete it by November 21. The collector held a video conference with tahsildars and directed them to go on field visits to verify Wakf lands mandal-wise. “The reports on the vacant lands, encroached lands, since when it encroached, who encroached the Wakf lands, any pending cases against the lands and other information along with Property Gazette Publication Number of concerned lands should be provided by the deadline. The report should be in two formats, general and revenue court cases,” she said.
