BOAT TRAGEDY POLLUTION CONTROL

The huge loss of life due to a boat capsizing in Vijayawada is shocking. I believe gross negligence of the boat operators led to this mishap. The government will have to take stringent action on the boat operators to put a stop to such tragedies.

Gross negligence on the part of officials who failed to check the ill-fated boat is to be blamed for the tragedy. The government should cancel all trips if there is poor visibility.

It’s shocking how Delhi has allowed pollution to overwhelm it. It’s high time the governments of all states hold consultations with the Centre on avoiding a similar situation. Any curbs agreed upon to curb pollution will not be too harsh.
