Baby abandoned in hospital

Hyderabad: A woman delivered a male child and abandoned it in Gandhi Hospital premises on Sunday night. The baby’s cries alerted a nurse, who went looking for the mother but could not find her. The case was reported to the resident medical officer, who alerted higher authorities. Attempts are being made to trace the mother with the help of details she filled in the admission form. The hospital hasn’t filed a police case yet.
