Lake police averts suicide

Hyderabad: A lake police officer saved a man who tried to commit suicide by jumping into the water at Upper Tank Bund on Monday. The victim was identified as T. Mallesh, 28, a resident of Domalguda. Upon investigation it was found that the victim had fought with his family members and came near the lake in an inebriated to commit suicide. The lake police team counselled him and handed him over to his family members.
