Gaming house raided, 7 held
Hyderabad: Sleuths of the Commissioner’s Task Force, Central Zone, along with Chikkadapally police conducted a raid on a gaming house and apprehended seven persons and seized cash of `35,200, playing cards and seven cell phones. The accused were identified as Musham Srinivas, 57, Bandaru Giridhar Rao, 46, Bottu Ravi, 50, D.M. Srinivas, 48, Damsheera Praveen, 47, J.V. Raghavaiah, 62, and S. V. B. Choudhary, 65, said the police. The accused took a room on rent a few months ago from another friend, and used it is as a gaming house, police said. “The Task Force team and police raided the premises on Sunday evening while the accused were playing cards,” Task Force DCP P. Radha Krishna Rao said.
