IN Hotel owner booked for digging up road
Hyderabad: The management of a hotel in Gachibowli has been booked for digging up a newly-laid road without the permission of the GHMC. The digging work was carried out to lay a sewerage line to the hotel. Gachibowli police issued a notice to Samskruti Hotel for the violation. According to the police, GHMC engineer M.V. Sriram Prasad from West Zone lodged a complaint in the matter. GHMC officials on Sunday found that the newly-laid road in front of Ghanshyam Supermarket at Sriramnagar was damaged. Inquiries revealed that it was dug up by Samskruti Hotel management without permission and without paying road restoration charges to the authorities concerned. Based on the complaint, police registered case and served notices to the hotel management.
