TELUGU LETTER CRASHES LATEST iPHONES
Next time when you are using a Telugu script on Apple Inc.'s devices avoid sending or receiving the letters (mentioned in the picture). If you receive a message with the character, do not open it. Instead, delete the message.
The reason being, whenever this letter is sent or received on devices running on Apple’s operating system, the apps are crashing and there is no immediate way to regain access.
Not only third party apps like Wha- tsApp, Facebook, Instagram, gmail but also inbuilt apps like imessage, safari web-browser on devices like iphone, ipad, apple watch, apple TV and mac books from across the world have become target of this bug.
This affects all those devices which are running on the latest version of the operating system iOS 11.2.5 and Mac Sierra OS also. Once you receive a text with this letter, messages will no longer open as the app attempts to load the character but fails. It goes on restarting the application indefinitely.
The easiest way to get back the access is to delete the thread of messages with the character. In the past Apple had quickly fixed such kinds of problems. However, the company has not made an official statement regarding the bug or the solution.
