Upset with illness, woman burns self

Hyderabad: A woman committed suicide by setting herself on fire at her residence at Shahbad on Monday. The victim was identified as K. Sandhya, 26, of Shahbad. “Sandhya was depressed with her ill health. She set herslef afire when no one was at home, and succumbed to 100 per cent she suffered,” said an investigating officer from Shahbad. The body was shifted to Osmania hospital for postmortem and a case was booked under Section 174 of CrPC.
