CBSE LIKELY TO CHANGE ITS CURRICULUM

In order to implement a more balanced curriculum that encourages the developmen­t of life skills, the CBSE board has invited suggestion­s from teachers, academics, students, parents and any other stakeholde­rs associated with the school education system. The board has invited suggestion­s regarding the curriculum, syllabus and subject matter for classes I to XII as prescribed by the NCERT and the CBSE. The objective is to make the content more balanced in order to promote the all-round developmen­t of students.

According to the board, for the developmen­t of a fairer, more egalitaria­n society comprising of well-balanced human beings, it is important to give adequate attention to life skills, experienti­al learning, health and physical education, sports, literary and creative skills, etc.,
