TTD BHAKTI CHANNEL CEO RELIEVED, ACTION AFTER CA’S REPORT

The executive officer of Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams (TTD) on Tuesday informed the Hyderabad High Court that they had relieved A. Narasimha Rao from the office of the CEO of Sri Venkateswara Bhakti TV.

Y. Balaji, the counsel for the TTD, informed to a division bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice K Vijaya Lakshmi that an IAS officer was given charge as the CEO of the SVB TV.

The bench was dealing with a PIL by P. Naveen Kumar Reddy, a resident of Tirupati seeking to declare the action of the AP government in not taking action against, Mr Rao for alleged irregularities in the management of the channel. He told the court that vigilance report against alleged irregularities was sent to chartered accountant and action will be taken against the former CEO after receiving his opinion. The bench asked the counsel to file the action taken report.
