BJP MAY ALLOW DISCUSSION

With two more parties joining in the no-confidence motion against the NDA government and the decision of TRS to withdraw the protest, the BJP’s next move is being looked on with interest. Sources said the BJP is likely to allow the discussion on no-confidence motion or not.

Along with the Congress, TD and YSRC, now CPM and RSP (Revolutionary Socialist Party) have also given a notice on No-Confidence Motion against the BJPled NDA government.
For the issue on NoConfidence Motion, Tuesday is crucial as Lok Sabha will meet for only two days in this week. In the next week, the Lok Sabha will meet on five days. On April 6, Parliament will adjourn sine die according to the schedule.
All these days, only the TD and the YSRC had given notice for the NoTrust Motion and everyday, the House was adjourned without taking it for discussion citing that the House was not in order as the TRS and AIADMK MPs were protesting in the well of the House. Now, five political parties, including main Opposition Congress, has given notice. It may not be possible to cite AIADMK MPs’ protest to adjourn the House, without taking No-Confidence Motion for discussion.
According to sources, two days ago senior BJP leaders discussed over the No-Confidence Motion issue. Majority leaders opined that it will be better to have a discussion on the NoConfidence Motion.
CPM leader in Lok Sabha P. Karunakaran, RSP MP N.K Premachandran, Congress leader in Lok Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge, TD MP Thota Narasimham and YSRC MP Y.V. Subba Reddy had given notices on No-Confidence Motion against the Union Council of Ministers to Lok Sabha secretarygeneral Snehalatha Srivatsava and these five notices will come in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.
Now only, AIADMK which has 37 MPs will continue their protest in the well of the House.
Speaker Sumitra Mahajan will take up the No-Confidence Motion for discussion or adjourn the House.
