MODI RULE LIKE BRITISH RAJ: NAIDU

-

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has likened the Modi government to the British Raj.

Never in history, he said, has there been an instance where the Prime Minister has protested as Narendra Modi does.

Mr Modi is the reason behind Parliament not being conducted appropriately. Every household is talking about Mr Modi betraying the state, he said.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday likened the Modi government to the British Raj.

“Never in history has there been an instance where the Prime Minister has protested as he did today. Modi is the reason behind Parliament not being conducted smoothly. Every household is talking about Modi betraying the state,” Mr Naidu said.

He made these comments during a meeting with his ministers and party leaders to discuss the bicycle yatra scheduled to begin on April 16 and public meetings on April 20 and 30.

Mr Naidu directed party leaders to emphasise the commitment of the Telugu Desam to fight against the Union government and the BJP’s betrayal of the state.

Mr Naidu directed his party leaders to ensure that the two public meetings scheduled for April 20 and 30 must be on a scale that would be talked about in Delhi, and should serve as a warning to Opposition parties in the state.

He wanted the assembled leaders to ensure the public participates in huge numbers.

The TD chief said that his direct attack on the PM was nothing to be scared of and he will never step back. Mr Naidu also said he will ensure that the PM would be too wary to even eye AP.

“Earlier, everyone was afraid of Modi but this is no longer the case,” Mr Naidu said.
