Woman ends life over son’s health

-

The team of forensic experts who conducted the autopsy opined that Premchand’s health suddenly turned critical due to dehydration. However, they claimed that he was also suffering from gross anemia and gross cirrhosis of liver.

“He had complained of dehydration and dizziness. Had the cops reacted immediately and provided him with medical assistance, he could have survived,” said a doctor from the team.

The doctors added that there were minor bruises on Premchand’s hands and legs, but they could not have occurred due to police torture.

“Except for them, there are no internal injuries or bleeding on any vital organs or other internal organs,” they said. Depressed over the health condition of her 6-year-old deaf and mute son, a 27year-old housewife committed suicide at Kukatpally.

“The victim identified as Kondavaripalli Anusha hanged herself at her home in the bedroom, while their son Chaitanya Krishna was asleep in the adjacent room,” said police.

According to Kukatpally police, Anusha was married to Sake Narayanaswamy, who works as a software professional and resides at VV Nagar.

Their child was deaf and mute and was facing health issues from the time of birth, due to which Anusha was depressed.

On Wednesday, after Narayanaswamy went to work, Anusha was alone at home with their kid.

Around 9.30 pm, Anusha’s parents called her on her mobile, but it was switched off.

They immediately called Narayanaswamy who was at work and spoke to him as usual. They also informed that Anusha’s mobile was switched off.

Around 10.30 pm, when Narayanaswamy reached home, he found the door locked from inside and despite repeated knocks, when there was no response, he broke open the door with the help of the neighbours and found Anusha hanging in the bedroom, while their kid was asleep in the hall.

According to Narayanaswamy and Anusha’s parents, she was in depression due to her son’s health and growth.

Kukatpally Inspector V. Prasanna Kumar said that based on a complaint from Anusha’s brother Anand, a case has been registered and investigation is on.
