YOUTH NABBED FOR HARASSING MINOR GIRL

A 22-year-old man was nabbed by Neredmet police on Tuesday for harassing a Class VI student in Neredmet.

According to M. Jagadish Chander, inspector of Neredmet police station, Sai Preneeth, an Intermediate student who is also the girl’s neighbour, was harassing her for the past 15 days.

“For the past 15 days, Sai was making calls to her and asking her to accept his proposal. On Monday, the girl confided in her father and told him about the harassment. Following this, the father lodged a complaint with the Neredmet police station,” said the officer.
