CONGRESS FINDS SCAM IN PUMPHOUSE

The Congress has alleged `1,000 crore corruption in the construction of an underground pump house in the Palamuru-Rangareddy project.

TPCC treasurer Guduru Narayana Reddy, speaking to the media on Tuesday at the Gandhi Bhavan, questioned that when there is a possibility of constructing an open pump house in the Palamuru-Rangareddy Project, why the state government has constructed an underground pump house?

He said that the government should answer this. He rejected the TRS allegation that the Congress is obstructing projects taken up by the government.

He said that for the construction of Baswapur reservoir in Bhongir, under the Kaleswaram project, his family had given 120 acres of land and asked whether this was an obstruction of the project.
