Don consults Abe, Moon before meet

Washington, June 12: US President Donald Trump spoke over phone with two of his closest allies -- Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and President Moon Jae-in of South Korea -- ahead of his meeting with Un, the White House said. In two separate readouts of the phone call, the White House said Trump agreed to consult with them before his summit meeting with Kim.

“The two leaders (Trump and Abe) discussed recent developments ahead of today's summit with North Korea and agreed to consult closely following the meeting,” the White House said. –PTI
