He said a full-scale project report is was drafted for the construction of Metro Rail from Nagole to Falaknuma. The Mana Nagaram was held for five hours and saw about 500 residents associations of LB Nagar constituency participating.

“The five SRDP projects in LB Nagar constituency costing `448 crore will be completed by June 2019. Works relating to internal roads, storm water drains and sewerage works worth `3,100 crore are being done in the constituency,” Mr Rama Rao said.

The minister said that over 44 lakh dust bins and more than 2,000 autorickshaw had been distributed as part of the initiative to segregate dry and wet waste, but many residents were failing to do so.

He said a high-level meeting would be convened on Monday for solving land related disputes along with revenue minister, CCLA and district collector.

The government is considering purifying land records in urban areas.

Mr Rama Rao called upon the welfare associations and corporates to take up the responsibility of infrastructure like parks and playgrounds developed by GHMC in their locality.

He urged people to pay property tax on time as the implementation of development schemes was possible only through prompt property payments.
