The Spe­cial Oper­a­tion Team busted a soft­ware job racket on Thursday and nabbed three per­sons, who col­lected `1.2 crore from un­em­ployed youth promis­ing to pro­vide jobs in MNCs.

Puskuri Ra­jesh, Nal­lamothu Kishore Babu, Katikithala Anush Chai­tanya floated two fake com­pa­nies in April, named Arkon Tech­nolo­gies in So­ma­jiguda and Pro­pel Tech­nolo­gies in Mad­ha­pur.

They pub­li­cised the sham com­pany among the un­em­ployed with com­puter de­gree and promised jobs in re­puted MNCs like Wipro, TCS and Tech Mahin­dra. As many as 60 un­em­ployed youth paid `2 lakh each in the hope of get­ting a job.

Af­ter col­lect­ing the amount. they nei­ther pro­vided work nor paid them salary. On be­ing in­quired about the job of­fer, the ac­cused said that the pro­ject work was yet to be ap­proved by the MNCs.

The of­fi­cials re­cov­ered lap­tops, job agree­ments, of­fer let­ters, debit cards and cheque books from the ac­cused.
