Id prayers to echo message of peace
Muslims across India, with the exception of Kerala, will celebrate Id-ul-Fitr on Saturday, with congregational prayers being held in all major mosques and idgahs.
Through Ramzan, Muslims in their individual capacity say prayers for unity, peace and prosperity of the country, and safety of the community.
“We have been praying every day for the safety of the community, not just for Muslims in Palestine, Syria, Iraq or Yemen but also Indian Muslims. We pray through the year, but more so in Ramzan. We pray for unity and peace in the country, On Id day, I plan to offer special prayers for lessening the communal hatred and for an end to attacks on the community under the pretext of cow slaughter,” said Hafiz Rizwan Quraishi, Khateeb, Macca Masjid.
In order to facilitate proper control and regulation of traffic in connection with Id-ul-Fitr prayers at the Mir Alam Tank Eidgah and the Secunderabad Eidgah, ‘One Way’ traffic regulation will be enforced on the following roads from 8 am to 11.30 am on Saturday.
MIR ALAM TANK EIDGAH:
Devotees coming from Puranapul, Kamatipura, Kishanbagh and proceeding towards the Eidgah, Mir Alam Tank for will be allowed through Bahadurpura X Roads from 8 am to 11.30 am and they will have to park their vehicles at parking places shown in Sl. No. 1. During this period, the general vehicular traffic will not be allowed to proceed towards Eidgah, Tadban and it will be diverted at Bahadurpura X Roads towards Kishanbagh, Kamatipura and Puranapul etc. Parking places provided inside Zoo Park.
All devotees coming from Shivarampally & Dana-mma Huts and proceeding towards the Eidgah, Mir Alam Tank for prayers will be allowed through Dannama Huts X Roads from 8 am to 11.30 am and they wil have to be parked at parking places mentioned below. During this period, other vehicles will not be allowed to proceed towards Eidgah and they will be diverted at Danamma Huts X Roads towards Shastripuram, NS Kunta, etc.
Parking places are arranged at Yousuf Parking, Mazaar Parking, Jayesh Parking,Besides Modern Saw Mill parking In front of Eidgah main road Mir Alam filter bed and Yadav Parking (4 Wheelers)
All devotees coming from Kalapather and proceeding towards the Eidgah Mir Alam Tank for prayers will be allowed through Kalapather L&O PS from 8 am to 11.30 am and they should park their vehicles at parking places mentioned below. During this period, the general vehicles will not be allowed to proceed towards Eidgah and it will be diverted at Kalapather L&O PS towards Mochi Colony, Bhadurpura, Shamsheergunj and NK Kunta.
Parking places are arranged at Bhayya Parking, Modern Petrol bunk and BNK Colony,
From 8 am to 11.30 am the heavy vehicles coming from Puranapup towards Bhadurpura will be diverted towards Jiaguda and City College side till the entire congregation disperses from the Eidgah after prayers.
SECUNDERABAD EIDGAH:
All vehicles coming from Brooke Bond Centre and from CTO X Roads will be diverted at Eidgah X Roads towards Tadbund.
