APARNA AIMS TO DOUBLE ITS TURNOVER
Hyderabad-based Aparna Enterprises plans to invest `200 crore over the next three years to achieve its stated goal of doubling the turnover to `1,600 crore.
Speaking to the media, Aparna Enterprises managing director P. Ashwin Reddy said on Wednesday, “Currently, the turnover stands at about `800 crore. We hope to see our turnover touch `1,600 crore in three years.”
The company, currently, has a turnover of `800 crore. Of which, 80 per cent is contributed by its ready mix cements and UPVC windows and doors businesses.
When asked which division of Aparna Enterprises would help boost their turnover, he said, “We have high expectation from our tiles business. Currently, our tiles factory has only one line running. However, it has the capacity of two more lines. Each new lines requires an investment of about `80 crore.”
He, however, added, “Our UPVC windows and doors business, which has contributed much, will continue to play a similar role. Moreover, Aparna Venster is now foraying into Aluminium windows and structural glazing business.”
The company also has plans to foray into new segments but refused to divulge any further details.
When asked to give the breakup of the funding for its investment, Mr Reddy said, “About 30 per cent of `200 crore will come from internal accurals while the rest will be raised as debt from banks.”
Meanwhile, Aparna Group hopes that the group’s turnover would touch `2,300 crore by 2020.
