TRS ignoring split vows, says Congress

The Congress on Monday alleged that the ruling TRS was not serious on implementa­tion of bifurcatio­n policies as mentioned in the AP Reorganisa­tion Act, 2014.

Addressing a press conference here, senior Congress leaders Mohd Ali Shabbir and Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy said though the Congress approached the Supreme Court seeking implementa­tion of the bifurcatio­n Act, the TS government did not implead itself in the case while the AP government did. When the Congress is trying to secure pending bifurcatio­n promises, the TRS is trying to project the Congress as an “Andhra party”, they said.
