TRS ignoring split vows, says Congress

The Congress on Monday alleged that the ruling TRS was not serious on implementation of bifurcation policies as mentioned in the AP Reorganisation Act, 2014.

Addressing a press conference here, senior Congress leaders Mohd Ali Shabbir and Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy said though the Congress approached the Supreme Court seeking implementation of the bifurcation Act, the TS government did not implead itself in the case while the AP government did. When the Congress is trying to secure pending bifurcation promises, the TRS is trying to project the Congress as an “Andhra party”, they said.
