In less than three weeks, another flesh trade racket involving seven minors has been exposed in Telangana’s temple town – Yadagirigutta. The Rachakonda cops, following a tip off, carried out multiple searches and rescued seven minors and booked five traffickers belonging to a single family who forced minors from economically poor backgrounds, into prostitution.

According to the police, the traffickers took advantage of poverty and purchased each girl for a price ranging between `30,000 and `60,000 from their families across various districts of Telangana. This apart, Shankar Kamsani, who was booked under PD act, played a middleman by adopting orphan children, nurtured them until they reached puberty and forced them into prostitution.

Each house had one girl allocated for the flesh trade. The Rachakonda police has identified the accused as Kamsani Ramya, Kamsani. Kali, Kamasani. Bhagya, Kamsani. Neela, and Kamsani Durgamma. All belong to a single family.
