A PIL has been moved before the Hyderabad High Court seeking a court-monitored investigation by a multi-disciplinary SIT into alleged misappropriation of funds from the AP exchequer by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, minister Nara Lokesh, former minister Palle Raghunath Reddy and Mr Ravi Kumar Vemuri, CEO of AP Non Residential Telugu Society.

Advocate J. Sravan Kumar moved the petition questioning the action of Mr Naidu and other respondents in allocating thousands of acres to shell and ‘sleeping’ IT and other industries to earn `25,000 crore for their personal gain.

He said the AP government on the recommendation of APNRT had approved hundreds of smallscale IT companies, thereby granting crores worth incentives in the name of skill training. A petition has been moved before the HC seeking to declare the non-filling of the vacant post of Institution of Lokayukta and Upa-Lokayukta, since one year, as the ineffective functioning of state governments of AP and Telangana.

J. Atcha Rao, a resident of Bhimavaram town of West Godavari district moved the petition stating that he has lodged a complaint in the office of Lokayukta of AP in January 2017 against the inaction of the commissioner of Bhimavaram municipality in not removing a generator repairing workshop from his neighbor’s house which has been causing disturbance to him.
