Speaking to mediapersons at Vemulawada, Mr Rama Rao said welfare of the poor and Telangana development would the themes of TRS manifesto.

He said the TRS was in power only for three years in the last fourand-a-half years, as nine months had gone for allocation of IAS and IPS officials and dealing with the “non-cooperation” of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The party had come to the electorate nine months early.

He took a dig at the Congress’ delay in finalising its nominees, and said that the TRS would be distributing sweets before the Congress distributed seats.
