Traffic cops given helmets by NGO

- DC CORRESPONDENT

Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) distributed helmets to traffic cops at Gachibowli traffic police station on Wednesday as a part of social responsibility.

Traffic cops have issues due to prolonged exposure to air and sound pollution.

Due to this, most traffic police personnel get health issues like joint pains, asthma, chest allergies and others.

SCSC with the Sponsorship of Synechron has distributed Helmets to all traffic police cops.

Urooj Kamal, the Local Administrative Head of Synechron, said, “Our management is very concerned about the safety and security of not just our employees, but also police personnel, especially the traffic police who serve long hours standing on the roads in all seasons.”

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy commissioner of police Cyberabad, Vijay Kumar, advised the traffic police to wear helmets, as it is a moral responsibility of the traffic cops. He said, “It is not that the traffic police cannot afford a helmet, but it is their responsibility to wear a helmet and be a role model

Kumar further added that, it is a good sign that the IT companies have started realising the services of traffic police.

“Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) have supplied high density pollution mask, provide regular health checkups and basic life health training regularly,” said P.C.S. Reddy, Associate Director of SCSC. for the public.”
