An Assistant Commandant of the Andhra Pradesh Special Police Ninth Battalion, P. Naga Durga Prasad, was arrested by the Bachupally police of Cyberabad for allegedly transferring the General Power of Attorney (GPA) for a land registered on his wife Saritha’s name without her knowledge and arranging another woman to impersonate her.

On Thursday night, Ghouse and the parents consumed toddy and went to sleep on the platform of Lalaguda railway station. On Friday morning around 6 am, Ghouse took away the baby and boarded months ago when his wife Saritha complained that her husband had stolen land documents belonging to her and forged them with the help of another woman and changed the the GPA to his mother’s name. Further, he also managed to get the GPA transferred onto his name. an autorickshaw. The CCTV images showed him disembarking the autorickshaw at Rathifile near Secunderabad railway station. His whereabouts after that are not known yet,” said an officer.
The parents have not received any phone call from Ghouse with any demand, the official added.
Based on a complaint from Eshwar’s mother, Miraj, a case was booked under relevant sections of the IPC and an investigation is underway, the police said.
While the probe was ongoing, 10 days ago, the DSP rank officer went to one Reddy Prasad’s house in Nizampet, a businessman, and beat him before taking away his mobile phone.
The businessman had filed a complaint against the officer with the Tirupathi police for maintaining an extramarital affair with his wife.
Bachupally police said that two cases were booked against P.N.D Prasad: One on charges of theft, cheating and forgery based on his wife’s complaint and the second for robbing Reddy Prasad.
