TS best bivoltine silk producer

Hyderabad: The Telangana state has received another award from the Central government in silk production. The Central silk board of union ministry of textiles has selected the TS as “best bivoltine silk production state”. Central silk board chief executive officer and member secretary Rajit Ranjan Okhandiar in a letter to TS agriculture department principal secretary C. Partha Sarathi informed about the selection. Mr Sarathi and director, horticulture, Venkat Ram Reddy on Saturday received the award at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi.
