Jishnu, Razzak, Niketh, Manish, Adrith shine

Jishnu turned in an allround performance while Razzak Bin Ali, K. Srinekth, Adrith Reddy, D. Manish and Rohan also did well at the Hyderabad Cricket Association’s U-16 one-day league matches.

Jishnu of Bhavan’s Sri Ramakrishna Vidyalaya hit an unbeaten 123 off 99 balls with 14 boundaries and three sixes to his credit to help his team post 252 for 8 in 45 overs. Later, he also took five wickets while conceding 10 runs to consign Sri Vidya Niketan to defeat.

Manish of Delhi Public School (Nacharam) scalped six Chirec International School wickets while giving away just 19 runs to bowl them out for 110 in reply to Delhi Public School’s 178 in 44 overs.

Razzak was the other centurion. He hit 127 not out as All Saints made 261 for 6 in 45 overs and then bowled out Global International School for a paltry 60. Sri Niketh put up a splendid show for Vignan Vidyalaya as he hit a second successive century — 111 with 18 boundaries — to fashion his team’s eight-wicket win over Central Public School.

Adrith of Sreenidhi International School took six wickets to bowl his side to victory as the team posted 66 for five in 17.4 overs against Loyola Academy Junior College all out for 65 in 29.3 overs.

In another match, Rohan took five wickets for 10 runs for P. Obul Reddy High School who beat Jawahar High School by nine wickets.
