In the recent case of the usage of a drone camera to take pictures of the farmhouse of a prominent TRS leader located at Miyakhangadda in Narsingi, the Cyberabad police arrested six persons on Wednesday.

The police also have booked Malkajgiri MP A. Revanth Reddy, his brother A. Krishna Reddy and other aides and said that they are carrying out an in-depth probe before proceeding further in the case. On March 1, the police registered a case under relevant sections of the IPC and the Aircraft Act, for the illegal use of a drone camera at Miyankhangadda area, near the cricket grounds.

The Cyberabad police said that during the investigation, it was found that Krishna Reddy reportedly instructed one Vijaypal Reddy, a resident of Upparpally, to send his brother Praveenpal Reddy to the office of MP Revanth Reddy located at Jubilee Hills, along with a car and an extra person.

When Praveenpal along with his friend Vijay Simha Reddy went, Krishna instructed them to meet one Jaipal Reddy, a resident of Kokapet, and to shoot and capture images of targetted areas in Miyakhangadda and its surroundings.

They went to the area along with D. Rajesh, a drone operator, and Om Prakash Reddy, a resident of Miyakhangadda. “They reached the nearby cricket grounds, found the highest point and made videos of a private person’s property, with an intention to violate his privacy and cause harm,” said the police.

On Wednesday, Praveenpal Reddy, Jaipal Reddy, Vijay Simha Reddy, D. Rajesh, E. Shiva and Om Prakash Reddy were arrested and produced before the court.

Narsingi inspector, M. Gangadhar said, “After returning to Jubilee Hills, the video content of the drone was allegedly given to MP Revanth Reddy who also said to have instructed the drone operator to delete the footage. We recovered the video content and are sending it to the forensic sciences laboratory for analysis.”

The inspector said that based on the investigation done so far, MP Revanth Reddy is also booked and after a thorough investigation, necessary action will be initiated against him and the others.
