KCR an MIM puppet: Bandi
Seeks ban of ‘terrorist MIM’, sees saffron flag on Golconda Fort
Newly-appointed Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Sunday slammed the ruling TRS party alleging that it had become a puppet in the hands of AIMIM.
Addressing party workers after taking charge as president at the state party office here in the city, he wanted Majlis to be banned for its links with “terrorists and violence”.
He declared that BJP will destroy the fortress of ruling party in the state very soon and hoist the saffron flag on
Golconda Fort. Stating that the countdown for TRS has begun, the new state president announced that BJP will soon launch a state-wide exercise to expose the nexus between TRS and MIM and their vote bank politics. He asserted that BJP will dethrone the government of K. Chandrasekhar Rao, who is preserving his power with the support of Muslim votes.
Stating that KCR fears the Lotus and not coronavirus, Sanjay warned that if the state government books cases against BJP workers branding the party as communal, he will not remain a mute spectator. He said he is prepared to go to jail while fighting the ruling TRS and asked KCR to build new jails, as the existing prisons in the state will not be sufficient to accommodate BJP workers fighting against the government.
The new BJP chief questioned the Chief Minister for performing Yagnas claiming to be the only real Hindu when these rituals were only to make his son K. T. Rama Rao the CM of Telangana.
He claimed that Congress workers will be joining the saffron organisation in large numbers as their party was staring at "disintegration" in the state.
Sanjay said the screams of women and children of Bhainsa still haunt him. He would soon visit the town again to console the victims and extend financial support to them.
Speaking on the occasion, outgoing president K. Laxman said a groundlevel person becoming the state party chief is possible only in the BJP, which is the greatness of the party. He declared that the forthcoming Greater Hyderabad municipal elections will be the semi-final for the party to face the Assembly polls in 2023.
BJP national general secretary P. Muralidhar Rao, national secretary Satya Kumar, Union minister of state for home affairs G. Kishan Reddy, MPs G. Mohan Rao, D. Aravind and S. Bapurao, MLC N.
