Mother, son killed in gas explosion

A mother and her son died in an LPG gas cylinder explosion at Dhongathur­ti village of Dharmaram mandal in Peddapalli district on Monday night.

The deceased were identified as Gotte Yashoda, 45, and Gotte Rohan, 18.

Fire officials, on receiving the informatio­n from the locals of the explosion, rushed to the spot and tried to put out the flames.

However, by the time they reached the spot, both the mother and son were totally engulfed in the fire following the gas explosion and died on the spot.

Rohan was a student of intermedia­te first year and it was exam time for him. When the incident occurred, both of them fast sleep.

Rohan’s father was sleeping outside in view of the summer and escaped.

Police have registered a case and initiated a probe into the incident.

Telugu film actress Lavanya Tripathi lodged a complaint with the Hyderabad cybercrime police against a person who reportedly shared false informatio­n about her during some interviews with YouTube channels.

The popular actress, in her complaint to the police, stated that Sunishit, who claims to be an actor has been giving wrong informatio­n about her during his interviews that he was in close proximity to her and that he married her.

Following the complaint, the cybercrime police served notices to the concerned agencies to remove the links from the internet and also are making inquiries to find the facts and take necessary action.

Hyderabad cybercrime ACP K.V.M. Prasad said, “We are inquiring into the facts of the allegation­s, following which necessary legal action will be initiated. The suspect is said to be sharing false informatio­n about the actress during interviews with YouTube channels.”
