CORONAVIRUS

-

People are roaming around Hyderabad as if nothing has happened and some picnic is in progress. They are defeating the purpose of lockdown. The Telangana government should immediately take stern action against them as this situation can turn into a calamity.

Why not innovate on use of TV network to control lockdown? Directing the population from stepping out is a massive task. Unless the authorities think of some creative out-of-the-box techniques, it will not work. We could make all paid TV channels to become free so that viewers are engaged. The government can coordinate with DTH companies to make it happen. There were many good initiatives by the Telangana government and I wish to contribute positively.

The police action during lockdown is high-handed. People are being treated in an inhumane manner. Even the cops are not obeying safety precautions during lockdown or maintaining the one metre distance. While making people aware of coronavirus, they should not be made to starve. I request the PM to stop giving speeches and help states fight the virus and hunger.

Why can’t people act in a socially responsible manner for themselves and their elders if not for others? Why do cops have to beat them? I urge people to understand the gravity of the situation and not make India another Italy or China.
