COVID PANDEMIC

-

All those affected by coronavirus and all those suspected who are not voluntarily coming out to get a medical check after the Delhi Nizamuddin meeting must be identified and strict checks be implemented at pharmacies when buying paracetamol tablets or medicines for fever. We can catch them and try to identify those possibly infected. Somehow I feel they may not go to doctors or dispensary but go to pharmacy for medicines. S. Shoban Hyderabad

I am concerned about asymptomatic Covid-19 suspects. They are more dangerous than the positive cases. With no symptoms of Covid19 for 14 to 25 days, they unknowingly transmit this virus. If tested they will be found “positive” but they will never have symptoms. It's a time bomb ticking. If we are not cautious now then humanity will pay a huge penalty in the near future.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call to light lamps is meant to boost morale during the quarantine period. However, many are spreading rumours on social media. People should understand the importance of solidarity by lighting diyas or lamps and avoid unnecessary discussions.

Media and other outlets need to be appreciated for promptly propagating preventive measures to avoid coronavirus. One can also gargle and drink hot or warm water regularly. Even without the pandemic regular drinking of water is a healthy habit. Thanks to corona, good habits will die hard.
