SSC exams from June 8 to July 5
Hyderabad: The state government on Friday announced that the SSC annual examinations will be held from June 8 and will end on July 5. Students will have a two-day break between each exam but the timetable also includes exams on Sundays, June 14 and July 5. The exams will be held from 9.30 am.

Education minister Sabitha Indra Reddy, said on Friday, after announcing the exam schedule. “The government is making all preparations for trouble-free holding of the exams.”
As part of antiCoronavirus precautions, only one student will be allowed to sit at one desk, and the number of students at each centre will be reduced. To ensure physical distancing, an additional 2,005 examination centres will be set up.
As per original plans, the SSC exams were to be conducted at 2,530 centres. “We will also be pressing into service 26,422 more personnel as invigilators and other staff required at the exam centres,” she said.
Every student will be provided with a mask. All classrooms in every examination centre will be sanitised every day and thermal screeners will be used to check the students’ health.
“We are making special provisions for students from red zones or containment areas. There will be separate classrooms where they will be accommodated. All students will be provided transport via RTC buses and special arrangements will be made for students from red zones or containment areas,” the minister said. All staff including the invigilators will be provided with masks and gloves. Anyone showing any Coronavirus symptoms will be taken off duty and reserve staff will replace them.
“There will a helpline for parents and students to clarify doubts and provide suggestions,” the minister said.
