Bhatti wants KCR to detail his Covid sabotage remark

- DC CORRESPONDENT

Congress Legislature Party leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Tuesday demanded that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao spell out what the CM meant by his alleged remarks of sabotage in the Covid-19 issue. “People behind this sabotage must be exposed,” he insisted.

Addressing a press conference at the assembly media point, the CLP leader asked Chief Minister as to what type of sabotage was behind

Covid-19. It must be revealed who conspired and where the conspiracy was hatched to defame the KCR government using

Covid-19 as a weapon. Bhatti Vikramarka said it is unfortunate that KCR is ignoring the problems being faced people while himself sitting at the Pragathi Bhavan. He regretted that guest workers are still suffering due to lack of work.

The CLP leader demanded that the state government waive off power bills of the people for three months because of the lockdown. He condemned the statement of energy minister G.

Jagadish Reddy that interest will be collected from consumers who opt for payment of bills on instalment basis. He wondered how the government could think of collecting interest from consumers when they are not even in a position to pay the power bills because of the Covid-19 fallout.

Bhatti Vikramarka said the farmers’ community is scared of the government regulating the farm policy. It is but cruel to decide that Rythu Bandhu will be extended only to farmers who opt for regulated farming.

The CLP leader announced that Congress will organise a Chalo Secretariat protest on Thursday against the state government’s stand on power bills and Rythu Bandhu.
