Decide on online classes: HC to TS
Telangana High Court on Wednesday directed the state government to come out with a clear policy decision on whether or not it will permit private schools to hold online classes for students.
A division bench comprising Chief Justice Raghavendra Singh Chauhan and Justice B. Vijaysen Reddy was hearing a plea filed by Hyderabad School Parents Association seeking strict action against managements of all private schools that are holding online classes and collecting term fees from parents.
In this regard, the High Court issued notices to Chief Secretary; Director, School Education; district education officers of Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts; and the Telangana Registered School Management Association. The court directed them to respond by July 8, 2020.
