3 YOUTH HELD FOR SNATCHING MOBILE PHONE

Malkajgiri police on Wednesday announced the arrest of three teenagers involved in a mobile phone snatching case. According to police, the accused K. Rahul, 19, A. Irudia Raj,

19, and S. Praveen, 20, all residents of Malkajgiri, were apprehended on Tuesday.

On June 26, the mobile phone of K. Prashanth,

18, a student of Chengicherla, was snatched by Rahul while the former was walking along the road in Goutham Nagar. At the time, Rahul’s friends — Raj and Praveen — were keeping a watch on the movement of people in the surroundings. Soon after the mobile was snatched, the trio fled from the spot on a bike (AP 29 AK 6970).

Police said based on technical clues, the accused trio were traced and arrested. The mobile phone has been recovered.
