MILITANT KILLED AS ARMY FOILS INFILTRATION BID

The Army said that it foiled yet another infiltration bid from across the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district by killing a militant on Wednesday.

A defence spokesman in winter capital Jammu said that a group of militants attempted to sneak into J&K from PoK after breaching the fence along the de facto border in B.Gala area of Rajouri’s Keri sector at 5.55 am.

“Our alert troops challenged the infiltrators and one of them was killed,” the spokesman said.
