Make efforts to bring relief to people, BJP tells KCR

THE BJP leader alleged that the Ministers were touring districts in the name of welfare programmes to divert the attention of people from corona. He accused them of actually spreading the disease as they were not maintaining social distance and other Covid guidelines during their tours.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president and MP, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, alleged that the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) government had become helpless in containing the Covid-19 pandemic because it was being run by a bogus Chief Minister and his equally inept ministers.

Addressing a virtual press conference on Wednesday, he demanded the Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao to come out of his farmhouse and make efforts to bring relief to the people, whose life has been devastated because the state government has been unable to contain Coronavirus.

He accused them of actually spreading the disease as they were not maintaining social distance and other Covid guidelines during their tours.

Sanjay alleged that distribution of corona kits was a huge scam and those that were being distributed were of poor quality and N95 masks did not meet the safety standards that have been prescribed.

The contract was given to close associates of TRS leaders. The BJP demanded that corona cases must be included in Arogyasri scheme and `5,000 crore be released immediately to help corona patients.
