BJP MLAs SAY BSY’S SON IS FUNCTIONING AS ‘SUPER CM’
The Congress on Wednesday said that a few BJP MLAs have written to the BJP high command levelling serious allegations against the Karnataka Chief Minister’s son.
KPCC spokesperson M. Lakshman released copy of the letter to the media which is reportedly sent by seven BJP MLAs to their party high command. The letter alleges that B.S. Yeddyurappa’s son B.Y. Vijayendra is functioning as “Super CM”.
The BJP MLAs have reportedly accused him of indulging in corruption involving
`5,000 crore by raising
15 per cent commission or VST (Vijayendra Service Tax) to get government work done.
Lakshman did not reveal the names of those seven BJP MLAs. He, however, released a list of 31 people who are working as B.Y. Vijayendra’s team.
Addressing a press meet in Mysuru, Lakshman said that in that letter, the BJP MLAs have stated, “78year-old Yeddyurappa has only been a constitutional and “technical” Chief Minister. Taking the advantage of his old age, his son and BJP vice-president Vijayendra is functioning as ‘Super Chief Minister’. Vijayendra and his family members, their children, grand children and others are running a parallel, alternate 4G (fourth generation) state government like a private limited company in corporate style by forming a club of 31members. And they are getting government work done for commission.”
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah had termed Congress-led Siddaramaiah government as 10 per cent government, but now Vijayendra is raising 15 per cent commission for getting government work of contractors, brokers, middlemen done. While the Chief Minister says that they are not getting expected GST share to state from the Central government to take up certain developmental works, he has maintained silence on this VST (Vijayendra Service Tax),” he said.
