AP people must pick Bible party or Gita party: Bandi

- IREDDY SRINIVAS REDDY | DC

BANDI SANJAY demanded that those attacking Hindu temples be severely punished and all temples provided security.

Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay has made sensational remarks on ongoing politics in Andhra Pradesh and its Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. He wanted people of Tirupati, where a by-poll for its vacant Lok Sabha seat is expected to be announced any time, to decide whether they would elect a Bible Party leader or Bhagavad Gita Party leader.

Sanjay charged that only one religion is ruling the state in AP. He went on to warn CM Jagan not to test the patience of people over continuing vandalising of temples throughout AP.

The TS BJP chief was speaking after several leaders from Nagarjunasagar and Narayankhed constituencies of Telangana joined the BJP at the party’s state office.

Using aggressive words while addressing a press conference on the occasion, Sanjay warned the AP Chief Minister that once BJP activists come onto the roads in Andhra Pradesh, Jagan will have to shut down business in the state.

He asked CM Jagan to learn a lesson from which happened in Dubbaka and Greater Hyderabad elections. The same results will be replicated in the coming Tirupati Lok Sabha by-poll. He appealed to Hindus in Tirupati not to split in the name of castes and advised them to vote BJP for a united nation.

Bandi Sanjay demanded that those attacking Hindu temples be severely punished and all temples provided security. He wanted the Endowment Department in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh to be overhauled for its inability in controlling diversion of endowment funds. He said AP BJP president Somu Veerraju is preparing the ground for fighting against injustice in the neighbouring state.
