TS Cong remembers PV for his land reforms at centenary meet
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Monday praised land reforms undertaken by former Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao in Andhra Pradesh and his committed decisions that have given India many fruitful results.
He was addressing a meeting in Gandhi Bhavan here on Land Reforms by PV to mark his birth centenary celebration. The TPCC chief recalled his moments with the then Prime Minister when Uttam Kumar Reddy served as a protocol officer at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
He asserted that Congress has done a great job of bringing in social justice in the country, especially for Dalits and poor people. He said because of this, Congress is strong even today in thousands of villages.
