Govt supports illegal My Home mining: BJP
Nizamabad MP says TS not sending MSP plan for turmeric
The state government is least bothered about sending proposals even though the Union government is ready to give the minimum support price (MSP) for turmeric under the market intervention scheme, said Nizamabad Lok Sabha member Dharmapuri Arvind, here on Friday.
He met Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar and handed over a letter that detailed the helplessness of farmers. The letter also mentions about the illegal mining by the My Home Group.
Later, talking to the media, the MP said that the Centre is ready to release all funds needed by farmers but the state government is not at all sending proposals. Instead they are blaming the Centre for their own negligence.

Nalgonda. The group was attempting a similar operation in the reserved forests, which have a total area of 600 acres. The group is being supported by the state government, Arvind said. The state government has not responded to the three letters written by the Centre, the MP said. This highlights the carelessness of the state government that is encouraging the My Home group to go about its illegal mining operations. This is the MP’s second letter to the Chief Secretary on the issue of alleged illegal mining by the My Home Group.
