N. Satwik Reddy and Abhirath Reddy smashed double centuries while Neeraj Bist and Ilyaan Sathani took six wickets each to hog the limelight in the Hyderabad Cricket Association’s
A-1 Division three-day league action on Wednesday.
Satwik hit 280 with the help of 30 fours and nine sixes to guide Charminar to 521 for 9 and Abhirath stroked 222 which contained 25 fours and five sixes while his teammate Yash Gupta got 152 as Gemini Friends took the lead over Ensconse.
Krithik Reddy (168) of Gouds XI; Sportive’s Chandrasekhar (162) and Sarthak Bharadwaj (151 n.o) of Khalsa were the other big centurions while Neeraj (6/19) of Union Bank of India and Evergreen’s Ilyaan (6/48) led the bowling honours.
Sai Sragvi (5/32) of Zinda Tilismath, B. Buchi Babu (5/33) of Hyderabad Bottling, Rohan Yadav (5/34) of Central Excise, Budding Star’s Abid Khan
(5/37) and Nitin Sai Yadav (5/47) of Rohit XI were the other bowlers who did well in the top division.
