Big centurions and brilliant bowlers came on top at the Hyderabad Cricket Association’s league matches played at various grounds in the city on Friday.

In the top division threeday league, Mickil Jaiswal was the top scorer with an unbeaten 181 that powered MP Colts to victory over AOC.

Openers N. Thakur Tilak Varma and M. Abhirath Reddy lived up to their team title of Gemini Friends as they scored identical scores of 157 not out in their side’s 10-wicket win over Concorde, for whom Mohammed Asaduddin’s unbeaten 113 went in vain. Asad is son of HCA president and former Indian cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin.

Jai Hanuman’s N. Anirudh Reddy (151) was the other big scorer while Sportive’s opening batsman Shaik Sameer (116) scored his third consecutive century of the season.

Tanmay Agarwal (101) of Sporting XI, G. Shyam Sunder (104 n.o) of South Central Railway, BDL’s B. Revanth (108 n.o) were the others who got three-figure scores.
