Is Kavitha deputy CM, wonders BJP leader
Senior BJP leader Yendala Lakshmi Narayana slammed Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao for having kept pending the construction of community bhavans that catered to all BC communities in Hyderabad.
The former MLA, at a press conference here on Wednesday, alleged that Chandrashekar Rao has been taking BC communities for a ride with his false promises. He decried the injustice meted out to those communities.
Objecting to the manner MLC K. Kavitha has been calling ministers and party leaders to her home, he wanted to know if she was Deputy
Chief Minister. Lashing out at BC leader R. Krishnaiah for meeting with Kavitha, he asked him to reveal the meeting’s agenda.
Lakshmi Narayana warned the Chief Minister that if he continues to neglect BCs, SCs, and STs, his government could collapse. He said that Rao had failed to construct the double bedroom houses for poor people and demanded that it should be taken up as a priority.
The senior leader gave a call to the cadre and BC communities to protest at lands allotted for community buildings on February 8 demanding immediate commencement of construction work.
In another press conference, former minister Vijaya Rama Rao condemned MLA Dharma Reddy for his comments against BC communities. He demanded the Chief Minister to seek Dharma Reddy’s resignation and sack him from the party for his provocative comments. He alleged that Dharma Reddy had violated the Constitution when he jumped from TD to TRS as an elected MLA without resignation. His anti-quota comments were also in violation of the Constitution, he said.
The former minister alleged that Dharma Reddy was running schools in Warangal without permissions and was grabbing lands in his constituency.
