Bollywood actor Ranveer

Singh’s equity has been consistently rising every year, soaring even during the coronavirus pandemic, a feat that not many have achieved this year. It’s possible to see why it’s a big deal especially given the price range of his contracts, which is a whopping `7–12 crore.

According to a brand source, with the latest nine brands, Ranveer has a total of thirty-four brands, which implies that the actor has made over

`250 crores from just brands.

Interestingly, adds the source, all brands due for renewal have done it with Ranveer itself and at the same pre-COVID prices — surely some achievement!

Cinema, adds, “Ranveer has a good line up of movies, with big-screen entertainers such as ’83, Jayeshbhai

Jordaar and Cirkus set to release in theatres. He is also on the verge of announcing two mega-budget projects in the near future. All the top directors want to work with him, and with his box office track record that he has had, he is a sureshot crowd puller, which makes him an easy choice for brands.”

According to film historian Imtiaz Baghdadi it is but natural that Ranveer is the apple of the eye of brands too given that so much is working for him. “He is a young superstar and due to this, the brands are taking the long-term punt on him. They are assured of his longevity as a genuine mass hero. His films only indicate that his popularity is growing with time, and it is no surprise that from mass to class brands, everyone is looking to have him as their brand ambassador,” he adds.

Imtiaz also points out that

Ranveer is the biggest face of his generation, not only because of his acting skills or huge line up of movies, but also because he is the biggest on social media among heroes of his age group.

All the top directors want to work with him, and with his box office track record that he has had, he is a sure-shot crowd puller, which makes him an easy choice for brands
