The actress has been a part of couple of songs sung by the rapper Honey Singh, which have marked huge success, including Care ni karda from her recent film Chhalaang, which was voiced by Honey Singh, and two songs in the 2018-audience favourite comedy, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. Continuing the winning streak, Nushrratt’s recent collab attempt with the rapper, her very first music video, Sayyaan ji, seems to have struck gold too, with over ten crore views registered.

“Saiyaan ji is extremely close to my heart, it being my first single music video ever with Honey Sir,” says

Nushrratt. “It is our fourth song together, after Dil chori, Care ni karda and Chote chote peg. With Saiyaan ji crossing ten crore views, we’ve maintained our winning streak. I’m very, very overwhelmed with all the love coming my way from the audiences. The fact that the song has become such a massive hit is such an amazing hype for us.”

Talking about how the song is special to her, Nushrratt remembered shooting for it right after the lockdown was lifted. “That time, I was in the middle of promoting Chhalaang, and was running from one activity to another. Somehow, we fixed up the dates and worked it out — even if it meant shooting for eighteen hours a day,” she recollects. “I’m just really, really glad that all of it bore a fruitful outcome. We are all very elated with the result — that we delivered a blockbuster song!”
