Pawan Kalyan has planted his feet in two boats — his political career and his career of films. At one time, it was thought that he might not come back to films, but it appears that he needs to continue to act in order to maintain his political party.

According to a source, the actor is still charging the highest amount (`50 crore) as his remuneration.

“He is not only taking the highest remuneration, but also comes for shooting at his convenience. The producers are not complaining about the delay and still want to make films with him,” says a source.

After the completion of Vakeel Saab, he started work on the remake of Malayalam hit Ayyappanum Koshiyum.

“After a few days of the shoot, he wanted to attend some political meetings. The production people called the other actors about cancelling the shoot, and no one complained,” says the source close to the development. The producers are ready to pay whatever Pawan Kalyan demands despite problems, because he has a huge market.

Atotal of 12 teams will fight for top honours at the Hyderabad Premier Golf League, the city’s first such competition.
