TANISHQ OFFERS ZERO LOSS GOLD EXCHANGE POLICY

Tanishq, the popular jewellery brand, said it was offering a ‘zero loss gold exchange policy’ for customers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana state. These states, the company said, see half of all gold purchases made thorough gold exchange. Tanishq’s offer, the company said comes as a boon for customers who are looking to upgrade to new designs and refresh their jewellery assortment.

The company is offering 100 per cent valuation on exchange of 22 karat gold jewellery from any jeweller. The offer in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana state, is for a limited time period.

The exchange at Tanishq stores take place in front of the customer as the purity of gold is ascertaine­d by nondestruc­tive method using the state-of-the-art Karatmeter. The product is first cleaned in an ultrasonic machine and then it is melted in front of the customer. The final purity is measured in Karatmeter up to two decimal points. The selling and buying gold rate at Tanishq is the same and hence the customer gets the best exchange value for their old gold, the company said.

Speaking about the gold exchange policy, Srikrishna Myneni, Regional Business Manager, South, Tanishq, said, “Customers expect jewellers to be very transparen­t when it comes to exchanging of old gold. One can easily upgrade to Tanishq’s new and exciting collection­s and get a fair valuation for their old gold. Customers who have exchanged with us are completely delighted with our transparen­cy and valuation methods of exchange.”

Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) vice chancellor Prof. S. M. Rahmatulla­h has advised students to avoid differenti­ating between religious and modern education. He was addressing the inaugural session of an online workshop on Employabil­ity Skills.

Prof. Rahmatulla­h underlined that applicatio­n of modern techniques is essential if a society is to develop. These will also enable students to find employment faster. All modern techniques and tools of learning must be explored, he stated.

Students’ welfare dean Prof. Alim Ashraf briefed participan­ts about aims and objectives of the workshop. Students’ welfare joint dean Mohammed Abdul Sami Siddiqui is convenor of the workshop. Mohammad Samiuddin introduced the Quran Foundation, Hyderabad. Resource person of the first technical session Abdul Raheem dwelt on the skills required to face interviews and took a number of questions from students.
